Recently I was at the Container Store just checking out each aisle to see what new items I couldn’t live without. It truly is an amazing store and would get even the biggest hoarding offenders organized (well-maybe not true hoarders!). For your Airstream or your home, you are sure to find what you need to get you Martha Stewart-ized in no time. The Airstream of our dreams, the International Serenity has a very calm feel and Asian inspired theme. I fell instantly in love with these storage containers the second I saw them on the shelves and imagined how perfectly they would fit into the Airstream! I adore the green bamboo leaf motif!!
I had the honor yesterday of touring Timeless Travel Trailers 13,000 sq ft manufacturing facility here in Denver, Colorado. Our tour guides were none other than Danielle Garrison, Project Designer and David Hissem, Estimator. As future Airstream owners it was fascinating to learn of so many options to modify a trailer. One can choose from full restoration, personalization, upgrades or customizing a shell to make your trailer the dream machine. We were so fortunate to be able to witness and step inside a 40′ Airstream. This is one of only ten 40′ ever built. My camera lens was barely wide enough to capture this beauty. The 40′ Airstreams were built for the railroad to house workers. This trailer has been completely gutted and renovated for a private owner to live in. It’s too long for road worthiness, so it will be parked and enjoyed for years to come. We also toured a 25′ Airstream shell that will be completely customized with cherry cabinets and a slew of other magnificent upgrades.
The staff at Timeless is uber friendly and they even sport a few resident pooches to make your visit extra special. I look forward to sitting down with Danielle and David soon to discuss options for various upgrades including an all aluminum shower with a stainless steel floor. Just love that!! From celebrities to private owners to commercial trailers, Timeless Travel Trailers can make all of your trailer dreams come true! And by the way, The Travel Channel was filming just this week at Timeless for an upcoming show!! I’ll post more on that episodes when it’s scheduled.
Today I’m highlighting another retro Airstream trailer park ~ hotel. This time we travel to the South of France in the foothills of the Pyrenees near Mirepoix with fantastic mountain views. I spent three summers in the South of France and it’s divine. Belrepayre is the only retro trailer park in Europe. You choice between 10 Vintage Airstreams from the 40′s, 50′s, 60′s and 70′s. The park has a restaurant from a converted Airstream called the Apollo Lounge, laundry facilities, a general store, bicycles for rent, game room and hot showers! What more could you ask for? Well, how about fresh bread and croissants delivered to your Airsteam door~Oohh La La!! Profiter et bon voyage!

After years of learning organizing principles from Martha Stewart television programs and magazine articles, I’m always searching for creative and affordable ideas to organize spaces in my home. My search lately has me thinking of how I will organize my Airstream kitchen. While at IKEA several weeks ago, I saw a stainless steel handy holder for plastic wrap or aluminum foil. It was a great idea but, only holds one roll. Now, we all know our kitchen drawers are filled with several rolls of plastic wrap, wax paper and aluminum foil. So, I found this solution and I love this item. Not only will it hold two rolls of your favorite wrap for kitchen needs but, also holds a roll of paper towels. Genius. Plus, it’s stainless steel, costs around $69 and they offer free shipping. This site has so many other fun and creative stainless steel products. Enjoy!
